The "courtyard-style layout adds to the privacy and ambiance" of this "pleasant" hotel with an "absolutely beautiful pool area", set "a bit off the beaten track" and "next to a hospital" ("which can be noisy"); "fabulous", "spacious rooms" are "nicely decorated", though some patrons dislike the "bathroom sinks in the bedroom"-style layout; luckily, the in-house restaurant is "decent" and the staff has "a personal but professional touch."

Disappointed.

Dirty and issues.

Arrived and given key to room. Enter the room, where there were already luggage and occupied. People were not in room at time. Scary. Then given a different room. Called desk and asked to have room cleaned. They brought a lint brush. Horrible service and cleanliness was terrible. Sheraton Tucson East was the worst experience ever. Comfortable beds, sturdy but smelled of strong bleach which I had to use my robe to cover the pillows in order to sleep.

Everything but the comfy beds.

Hotel was terrible from the start. The rude employee at the registration desk, the room was not securely locked from the outside door, sometime the door shut and other times you didn't need the card key to enter that part of the hotel. The bathroom was the worst and the television was snowy, just felt old and very dirty. Elevator was filthy and the carpet to the room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in some time. They had an old couch in the elevator area that looked like it was raggedy and grossly dirty. It was just very unpleasant, my first unpleasant experience so far. ...read more
